In this project, the electronic phase diagrams of localized and itinerant electron systems with magnetic frustration are examined by means of the local-probe techniques muon spin relaxation (µSR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and Mössbauer spectroscopy. To tune the electronic state in addition to the application of high magnetic fields also hydrostatic and uniaxial pressure can be applied. A central aim is to identify new systems and parameter ranges with spin-liquid phases and to examine the low-energy magnetic excitations. The second subject is to examine the interplay of localized 3d and 4f electrons with topologically non-trivial electron bands in magnetic Weyl semimetals.
