A01
This project studies spin-liquid states of geometrically frustrated magnets using a combination of field-theoretic and microscopic approaches. This includes identifying new types of spin liquids theoretically as well as understanding and devising measurements on real-world materials aimed at identifying spin-liquid behavior. We will in particular focus on the role of quenched disorder in spin liquids and proximate phases, as well as on the signatures of these phases in non-equilibrium settings.
