Short biography
Sophia Fürtjes studied psychology and is a licensed psychotherapist. Since May 2020, she has been working as a therapist for online therapy with a focus on eating disorders and depression. She completed her PhD in March 2021 in the research area of development and maintenance of anorexia at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden. Her particular research interest is smartphone-based data collection in people's actual daily lives. As a PostDoc, she is mainly dedicated to epidemiological research on utilization of care options for mental stress and disorders.
