Annika Jung completed her psychology studies with a focus on clinical psychology and psychotherapy at the Philipps University of Marburg. During her studies, she worked for many years as a student assistant and tutor in various research groups and was primarily involved in projects on the treatment of Persistent Grief Disorder and research on trauma sequelae disorders. Since October 2022, she is in postgraduate training as a psychological psychotherapist at the Institute Outpatient Clinic and Day Clinic for Psychotherapy (IAP) in Dresden. She has been a research associate at the Chair of Behavioral Epidemiology since September 2023. Her research interests include the development and maintenance of (complex) trauma sequelae disorders, especially in the context of dissociative phenomena.
