Preliminary examination: The internal scientific evaluation procedure
The preliminary examination (PVL) consists of an essay (3-4 pages) per participant on one of the seminar topics, two reviews of essays by other students (approx. 1 page), a revised version of the essay based on the reviews and the answer to the reviews (approx. 2 pages).
A guide to writing essays can be found here.
The PVL will be completed during the semester. Please use the templates provided below to create the documents and submit them as PDF files. The intermediate steps are submitted via Owncloud to the lecturer and via email to the respective recipients (reviewer or essay author).
Technical note on submission: After entering your password, you will be taken to the upload page. You can drag and drop your file onto the "Select files and drag them here" field.
