Enrollment in courses with selma

General information

Enrolment in courses of the Faculty of Psychology's degree programs takes place online via selma (student self-management system). Since the winter semester 2022/23, selma has been the central portal of TU Dresden through which students can

• register for courses and examinations,
• view results,
• and submit applications relating to their studies.

Notes on enrollment

• Registration and deregistration for courses, examinations and modules is only possible if you are enrolled (re-registered or on leave of absence) in the respective degree program.
• When planning, please use the sample timetables and the study regulations for your degree program. Make sure that your choice of courses does not overlap.
• The following applies to Bachelor's and Master's students: first register for the module, then for the associated courses/groups.
• Elective modules can only be taken to the extent that corresponds to the maximum possible credit points. Further elective modules are only possible as additional modules. If you do not wish to take a module, please deregister in good time.
• Places are generally allocated according to the time of receipt of registration.
• If selection procedures are planned for courses, you must set a priority for all courses. Never use "Exclude" or "No preference", otherwise you may not be allocated a place. The allocation is done automatically via selma.
• Import courses are organized by other faculties, which is why the registration deadlines may differ.
• Language learning seminars in English/ TUDIAS are enrolled via OPAL (information: https: //www.sprachausbildung.tu-dresden.de/).
