Which exchange programs can I take advantage of?
Every stay abroad comprises an exchange place and funding. Some programs, such as Erasmus+, already include both. If this is not the case, you will have to take care of the exchange place and funding individually. An overview of worldwide exchange opportunities can be found on the "Service4Mobility" portal.
ERASMUS+ in Europe and worldwide
The ERASMUS program enables you to spend short or long-term stays in Europe and worldwide.
TUDworldwide
How about a stay in Africa, Asia or America? See the world during your studies, get to know new cultures and live and learn in a foreign environment - all this is all possible with TUDworldwide!
International faculty cooperations
In addition to Erasmus+ and TUDweltweit, there are also international faculty cooperations with partner universities all over the world. Just take a look at your Faculty's website!
Individual stays
You can of course plan a stay abroad yourself. We will be happy to support you. You can find information on the "Individual stay" page.
How can I finance my stay abroad?
There are various funding opportunities and programs that can help you finance your stay abroad. You can find out which requirements must be met and what exactly is funded on our information pages.
How do I apply?
Depending on the exchange program you have chosen, you will need to apply to the respective Coordinator in your Faculty or in the International Office. For some programs, applications for exchange places are made within the Faculty, but funding applications are made with Unit International Affairs. The respective contact persons, application modalities and deadlines can be found on the corresponding information pages of the various programs and cooperations. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to prepare. We recommend that you plan your stay abroad at least one year in advance.
Information events
We offer various information events in the winter and summer semesters. Registration is not necessary.
