Services and Office Hours in the Fritz-Foerster-Bau
The Directorate Student Affairs and Continuing Education in the Fritz-Foerster-Bau offers a comprehensive range of advisory services to help you master your studies.
Before you can take advantage of the advice offered by the individual Units during the open consultation hours, you will need a call token. You can obtain this at the Servicepoint of the ServiceCenterStudium in the foyer of the Fritz-Foerster-Bau.
The Servicepoint of the ServiceCenterStudies is therefore your central point of contact for all questions relating to the application process and the organization of your studies.
Office hours
The Career Service supports you in finding professional orientation. We offer workshops to equip you with professional skills and aid you to optimize your CV. Moreover, we can help you to network with potential employers.
Early professional networking can facilitate the start of your career. Furthermore, practical experience can provide you with orientation for the choice of your specializations and enhance your academic success.
Getting to know your skills and potentials, you learn to set your goals realistically and to achieve them.

If you have any questions regarding your application, study requirements, re-registration or other matters concerning the organization of your studies, the Enrollment Office is the right place to contact if you obtained your high school diploma (Abitur) at a German school according to German law or if you are a German citizen and obtained your university entrance qualification at a foreign university. You can visit the staff member responsible for your degree program in person during opening hours or contact her via the ServiceCenterStudium hotline (see contact details).
Please note the special office hours of our branch offices at the Faculty of Medicine and the International University Institute (IHI) Zittau. The contact persons for this are not located in the Fritz Foerster Building.

The International Office is one of the central points of contact if you need help in one of the following areas:
- you are an international student who wants to study at TU Dresden or who is already enrolled (exchange students, degree students, as well as PhD students) and you have questions regarding the application requirements, enrollment, cultural activities and events, etc.
- you are a TUD student who is interested in going abroad for an exchange semester or an internship abroad and you want to make use of one of our many exchange programs and funding schemes.

During open consultation hours, a student counselor is available for a brief consultation without an appointment. Please pick up a numbered ticket at the service point of the Service Center Studies first. Alternatively, you can also call us.
Official documents from TU Dresden are certified for a period of two years on completion of an academic degree.
Documents for official certification can be handed in to the service point in theServiceCenterStudies (contact information) at any time during opening hours.

Open office hours of the career counseling of the employment agency
Every Monday (only during the lecture period) from 09:00 to 12:00 a.m. directly at the ServiceCenterStudies Servicepoint in room E40C. Counseling is offered on the following topics:
