Studying does not always run smoothly. The Central Student Information and Counseling Service supports you in all phases of your studies – in case of uncertainties, doubts, problems, exam preparation and graduation. We listen to you, discuss your situation and consider open-endedly which next steps could be suitable for you. The focus is on your needs, experiences and skills. Our services are voluntary, free of charge, confidential and anonymous if you wish.
We, the counselors at TUD, are interested in your feedback: Help us to improve studies, teaching and counseling and take part in the current survey! You have already received your personal participation link by e-mail from the Center for Quality Analysis. Questions? zqa@tu-dresden.de

Counseling topics
Very different problems can arise during your studies. Perhaps you have doubts about your studies and are thinking about changing or dropping out. You may be looking for alternative study options that suit your interests, skills and goals. Or you may be dissatisfied with your performance in your studies and doubt whether you can complete them. However, counseling can also focus on structuring your studies, re-entry after a longer break and difficulties in completing your studies (end-of-study counseling).
We are also happy to discuss other topics relating to your studies with you and address special challenges such as a health impairment or family responsibilities. We support international students in coping with their studies in Germany.
