Discover career opportunities: The Market of Opportunities inspires with personal networking and exciting insights

On April 20, 2026, the Market of Opportunities opened its doors in the Dülfer Hall for the fourth time! With an adapted new focus, the event offered numerous scholarship holders and sponsors of the Deutschlandstipendium an excellent platform for exchange, networking and career orientation. The scholarship holders were invited in advance according to the degree programs sought by the sponsors, so that the field of study and specialization matched on both sides. Participants were able to enjoy personal discussions and gain exclusive insights into various industries, career paths and entry opportunities.

The event began with a welcome from the Deutschlandstipendium, followed by short company pitches from the sponsors present. Afterwards, four rounds of talks gave scholarship holders the opportunity to get to know the various company representatives. Between program points, breaks featuring a light buffet provided an opportunity for informal networking. 

A special highlight was the 1:1 meetings that could be booked in advance. During these personal discussions, scholarship holders received individual feedback on their application documents, learned more about the application process and discussed specific career options. 

At the end of the event, a raffle for three prizes sponsored by the AWS Development Center Germany added to the excitement.

The Market of Opportunities once again proved to be an important interface between studying and the world of work. The event was a successful afternoon full of new ideas, interesting discussions and concrete prospects. Anyone looking for internships, working student positions or a career start was able to make valuable contacts here.
