Netzwerktreffen Schulen - TUD
TU Dresden offers a wide range of formats for and activities with schools. TUD also concludes cooperation agreements with selected schools for particularly close and sustainable collaboration. The focus of this work is on innovative science communication and target group-oriented formats for study orientation. The network of cooperation schools is supervised by the School Contact Office and the TUD's Center for Teacher Education.

Ehrenfried-Walther-von-Tschirnhaus-Gymnasium Dresden

"Learn. know. understand. classify. ask" - that is the motto of this young secondary school (founded in 2014), where more than 1000 students learn. Together, we organize excursions to the TU Dresden and realize the first Dresden Junior Engineer Academy, which is dedicated to microelectronics and thus one of the future topics of our region. Gymnasium Löbau
The Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium Löbau is a grammar school with a long tradition and modern orientation that focuses on promoting young people with different abilities and inclinations. The school offers a wide range of language, artistic, social and sporting activities to give pupils the opportunity to pursue their interests. In addition, the school offers in-depth math and science education and is part of the MINT-EC network to support particularly gifted and interested students.
"Glückauf" Grammar School Dippoldiswalde-Altenberg

The "Glückauf" grammar school is an important educational player in the district of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains at two locations (Dippoldiswalde and Altenberg) with natural sciences, languages and art and as an elite school of sport, and promotes the individual development and commitment of pupils. Through its close connection with the region and its emphasis on education, science and culture, the school offers its students a comprehensive and varied education. in a joint model project, we interlink school and university learning with the aim of developing an extracurricular learning location.
In September 2025, the meeting of the cooperation schools took place at the "Glückauf" grammar school.
Dresden-Gorbitz Grammar School
Ehrung Gymnasium Dresden Gorbitz Digitale Schule
Since its foundation, the Dresden-Gorbitz grammar school has focused on cooperation with extracurricular partners and gives students an early insight into current research through cooperation with the TUD. Since 2022, our joint venture has been the Gorbitz Dialogue, an exchange format between students and scientists as part of the profile lessons. Gymnasium Dresden-Gorbitz has also been recognized as a Digital School.
Dresden-Plauen Grammar School
With the motto "Community - Achievement - Development", school at Gymnasium Dresden-Plauen means much more than just lessons. In addition to academic performance, social and cultural commitment are important for the school community. The "Richard Socher" Student Innovation Center (SIZ) is a special way of promoting young people's enthusiasm for learning and innovation in the use of digital media. A special feature here is the regular IT project week. The Dresden-Plauen secondary school has held the MINT-EC School seal since 2025.
Martin-Andersen-Nexö-Gymnasium Dresden
The "MANOS" is a grammar school with an in-depth mathematical education that gives young people the opportunity to pursue their related interests to a "deeper" and broader extent both in and outside of the classroom. In this context, an annual project week on scientific work takes place, where young people participate in research in TUD laboratories. The school is a member of the MINT-EC network of schools.
Oberland-Gymnasium Seifhennersdorf
Oberland-Gymnasium Seifhennersdorf has been a TU Dresden cooperation school since 2023, and scientists and prospective teachers from TU Dresden visited Oberland-Gymnasium Seifhennersdorf to conduct exciting workshops with Year 9 pupils with a focus on sustainability. The main aim was to encourage the pupils to get involved by promoting dialog and creating links to their everyday lives. The thematic framework for this was provided by environmental events, human intervention in nature and methods for sustainable action.
Pestalozzi-Gymnasium Heidenau
Pestalozzi-Gymnasium Heidenau is a STEM-friendly school on the outskirts of Dresden. We work closely together, particularly in the area of scientific work and early enthusiasm for STEM (grades 5 and 6).
Saxon State Grammar School Sankt Afra zu Meißen - Support for gifted students
Semper Grammar School, Semper Secondary School, Melli Beese Secondary School and Vocational Grammar School of the Semper Schools
August 2024: Four schools of the Semper Group are cooperation schools of TU Dresden: the Berufliches Gymnasium, the Semper-Gymnasium, the Semper-Oberschule and the Melli-Beese-Oberschule. On the occasion of the cooperation school meeting, the contract was handed over to the Vice-Rector Academic Affairs, Prof. Michael Kobel, by the school management teams present.

German School Temperley, Argentina
The German School Temperley has been a cooperation school of TU Dresden since February 2024. The signed contract was officially handed over to the Vice-Rector Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Kobel, at the end of February 2024 during the school visit of 23 students from the German School Temperley. We look forward to even closer cooperation in the future!

Colegio Alemán Alexander von Humboldt
In April 2023 , TU Dresden signed its first cooperation agreement with a German school abroad. The Colegio Alemán Alexander v. Humboldt is a STEM-friendly school in Mexico City. We look forward to working closely with them!
Interested in a cooperation with TU Dresden?
A cooperation agreement can be concluded with interested schools if various requirements are met. The overarching goal of the cooperation agreement is cooperation between schools and TU Dresden in the areas of science communication, participation in and facilitation of research processes, support for students in career and study orientation and strengthening the qualifications of student teachers and teaching staff.
