Notes on the preservation of accessibility in digital teaching
In times like these, the need for e-learning is growing. However, it clearly shows us the possibilities and limitations of digital teaching. In the past few weeks, various formats have been established at the Technical University Dresden to ensure a smooth continuation of the semester despite the pandemic. And as in face-to-face teaching, studying in the digital space is causing great problems for a number of students with various limitations.
Together with the Comissioners for students with disabilities and chronic illnesses, the Working Group Services Disability and Studies (AGSBS) has prepared guidelines to support you in your teaching. With the following tips for ensuring barrier-free conditions for your digital courses, you can actively support the participants of your courses and employees with disabilities as well as chronic and mental illnesses.
