Reference guide: “Highlighting Innovative Women—A Guide to Communication and Gender Equality in Colleges, Universities, Companies, and Organizations”
The new guide from the “Innovative Women in Focus” meta-project uses real-world examples to show how universities, companies, and organizations can make women more visible in the long term. It offers a roadmap for implementation, emphasizes the importance of long-term cultural change for equal opportunity, and demonstrates how the innovative potential of women in academia and business can be better harnessed. Among other initiatives, the guide features the “Frauenort” project at TU Dresden.
New Brochure: “Highlighting Innovative Women—A Guide to Communication and Equality in Colleges, Companies, and Organizations”
The new brochure from the meta-project “Focus on Innovative Women” uses concrete real-world examples to show how women can be made more visible in academia, research, and society in a sustainable way. It is aimed at universities, companies, and organizations that want to actively promote equality and diversity.
In addition to inspiring projects, the brochure also offers a roadmap for practical implementation. It makes it clear that greater visibility cannot be achieved through isolated measures but must be part of a long-term organizational cultural shift. The goal is to promote equal opportunity and better harness the innovative potential of women in science and business.
The brochure places special emphasis on innovative projects that have already been successfully implemented. One example is the “Frauenort” project at the Technical University of Dresden, which was launched in collaboration with the “frauenorte sachsen” project. The “Frauenort” on campus honors female scientists from both the present and the past and sends a strong message about female innovation and its significance in the university’s history. This initiative is complemented by the calendar “Bright minds have no gender – historical female doctoral candidates at TU Dresden,” which features portraits of twelve outstanding female scientists from TU Dresden’s history.
