What is the legal basis for the processing of personal data?
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR (consent), i.e. the use of and consent to the associated processing of your personal data are voluntary.
What personal data is processed?
The following personal data is processed
01) Data of the person submitting the application
- Name, company or institution, telephone number and e-mail address are mandatory and will be stored.
- Title, function/position are optional and are only stored if they are provided
02) Data of the contact person at the TUD
- The organizational unit of the TUD (e.g. Chair or Directorate), name of the contact person and TUD e-mail address are mandatory and will be saved.
- Function / position of the contact person and telephone number are optional and are only stored if they are specified
How long is personal data stored?
The duration of data storage is in accordance with the application for logon use.
- unlimited in time
- limited in time according to the request + 12 months
This does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent until it is withdrawn.
If personal data is transmitted to recipients, who at TU Dresden has access to this data and is data collected from third parties?
Unless otherwise stipulated by law or you have expressly consented in individual cases, personal data will not be transferred to third parties.
What rights do data subjects have?

The provision of personal data is voluntary. Consent to the processing of personal data can be revoked at any time in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR with the consequence that the personal data of the person concerned will no longer be processed. - Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR)
