Call for Applications: Winter Semester 2026 — Scholarships Available for Students in the Final Stages of Their Degrees

The Association of Friends and Sponsors of the TUD Dresden University of Technology (GFF) is once again offering 5 scholarships to undergraduate and doctoral students at TU Dresden who will be writing their thesis during the 2026/2027 winter semester (Oct. 1, 2026–Dec. 31,March 2027).
Only students at TU Dresden who can demonstrate that they will be in the final phase of their studies during the 2026/2027 winter semester are eligible to apply. This is based on the timeframe specified by the respective Examination Offices for the completion of the written thesis (Bachelor’s/Diploma/Master’s/State Examination/Doctoral).

The scholarship provides funding for 3 months , with a monthly amount of 300 euros for undergraduate students and 500 euros for doctoral candidates. The start date of the scholarship can be set individually within the period from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.

The application should include the following documents:

• Application form
• Letter of motivation
• Resume
• Current certificate of enrollment
• Transcript
• Confirmed registration of the thesis, including deadlines
• Letter of recommendation from the supervising professor
