General Assembly 2025 - View of the Lausitz Campus

On December 8, 2025, the members of the Fördergesellschaft met for this year's annual meeting in the lecture hall of the Fritz Foerster Building. After the report by Managing Director Dr. Undine Krätzig on the 2024 activities, Rector Professor Ursula M. Staudinger reported on the inspection as part of the TUD's application for excellence and the Excellence Days on Mommsenplatz.

Afterwards, the founding director of the German Center for Astrophysics, Professor Günther Hasinger, gave a vivid presentation on the development and goals of this large-scale research center. The afternoon was accompanied by musical contributions from the wind section of the university orchestra.
