Dear music enthusiasts, we are The Big Band Therapy, originally founded by medical students from Dresden, but over the years we have grown into a colorful mix of students and non-students.
What has brought us together is the fun of making music and what keeps us together is the addictive good mood that you get from our varied program. From jazz standards to
radio hits, from swing to Latin and rock, we always take our audience on a musical journey. Just like Louis Armstrong said: "To jazz, or not to jazz, there is no question!".

Last year, thanks in part to the support of the Association of Friends and Sponsors of TU Dresden (GFF), we were able to concentrate fully on our musical further development. In 2024, we were able to play concerts again, including for example the Medicine Prom, the Transport Sciences Prom and also the Feuerzangenbowle of the FSR Physics.
