The Foundation for the Sponsorship of Technische Universität Dresden was established by the Association of Friends and Sponsors of TU Dresden in 2000 as a foundation with legal personality. The foundation’s purpose is the financial support of TU Dresden (TUD). In particular, it supports teaching and research as well as cultural and athletic programs at TUD. To this end, the foundation holds conducts fundraising campaigns and public relations work. The main focus is on projects that help long-term, sustainable development of the campus and university life.

Our vision for the campus of the future – join us in shaping TU Dresden!
In redesigning open spaces on campus, we are focused on ecological, urban climatic and design elements. For this reason, there are wide-ranging plans for planting large green spaces and trees as well as installing new seating areas, benches and art. The Campus design master plan establishes the framework for this process. Topics such as biodiversity, family-friendliness, accessibility and sustainability will be taken into account and reflected in the comfort and quality of outdoor areas at TU Dresden.
