The human brain loves stories. Researches show that information packed in stories is much more memorable than blank data. Plus, it`s a lot of fun to tell stories. In this practical and playful workshop, we will explore what makes a good story and how we can profit from the power of storytelling. We learn basic patterns of stories and simple methods and techniques to get your message across effectively. We develop your personal story that enables you to have an interesting and joyful conversation that will leave you in good memory with the person you are talking to. |

Sven Hönig is storytelling expert and loves building bridges between science and art. After his studies in acting at Hochschule für Schauspielkunst „Ernst Busch“, he worked for theatres like Schaubühne, Maxim Gorki Theater/Berlin and Staatstheater Braunschweig. Today he is a permanent member of the ensemble at Staatschauspiel Dresden. He played in international TV and Movie Productions, like Marvels Avengers and Pope Joan. Right know he is seen in the poetic comedy Franky Five Star. Since twenty years he teaches acting at several acting schools and accompanies scientists, managers, teachers and computer specialists to further develop their skills in public speaking and presenting.
