Commitment to Combating Gender-Based Violence
In connection with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25, TU Dresden invites students, staff, and interested members of the public to take a closer look, share their thoughts, and learn about ways to take action. The program combines different perspectives on violence and discrimination with practical ideas for fostering a sense of solidarity in everyday university life.
The series kicks off on November 2 with a film screening and introduction titled “Sorda – The Sound of the World.” This film evening invites attendees to explore different ways of perceiving the world and to engage in conversation with one another. The topic of birth violence is examined here through an intersectional lens.
