Participation in the online-lecture “Everyday Racism: What Do I Need to Know? What Can I Do?“ and the associated consent to the processing of personal data is voluntary.

On November 4, 2026, TU Dresden will host the lecture "Everyday Racism: What Do I Need to Know? What Can I Do?". Personal data will be processed exclusively for the implementation of the aforementioned event (contacting participants).

3. Legal basis for the processing of personal data
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) DSGVO (consent).
Important note: In the course of the registration process, you must take note of our privacy statement and give your consent to it. If you do not agree to our privacy statement, the registration you have made can unfortunately not be processed further.

The information provided on the registration form will be stored. A link to join the lecture will be sent to the email address provided. Some of the information will be processed for statistical purposes.

No, no personal data will be transmitted to third parties.
6. How long will the data be processed/stored?
The personal data will be deleted no later than four weeks after the event.
7. Will personal data be published?
The data provided during registration will not be published.
8. The rights of the persons concerned
In order to exercise your rights, a written notification (email or letter) to the responsible people (TU Dresden, Directorate 9 University Culture, 01062 Dresden, , 0351 463-32397) is sufficient.
- The provision of personal data is voluntary. Consent to the processing of personal data may be revoked at any time with the result that the personal data of the person concerned are not processed further.
- The persons concerned has the right to request information at any time about the data processed concerning her/him and the possible recipients of such data. S/he is entitled to a response within a period of one month after receipt of the request for information.
- S/he may at any time request the TUD to correct or delete her/his personal data or to restrict processing. In the event of a complaint, s/he can contact the supervisory authority in charge of data protection.
- The person concerned has the right to request that the controller transmits his/her personal data to him/her in a machine-readable format. Alternatively, s/he may request that the personal data s/he has provided be transferred directly to another controller, where this is possible.
