USE OF THE ZIH OPERATION MODEL FOR PC POOLS / PC WORK GROUPS FOR INDIVIDUAL WINDOWS ENVIRONMENTS
The ZIH makes its operating model for central PC pools available as well as its employee network for running one's own PC pools or domains. The environment uses the ZIH login and can be used as an employee domain (with a personal windows profile) and/or as a PC-Pool domain (use of an unchanging pool user profile). The installation and configuration of the PCs takes place from a central place operated on your own, which falls back on mechanisms for software deployment (including software repositories) made available by the ZIH.
Providing the registration with the ZIH login through the development of trust (Windows Trust) between the own domain and the central ZIH windows domain.
Additional services included, which are to be managed independently:
- WSUS update server
- Sophos update server
- Windows deployment server (system)
- WPKG Service for Software Deployment & Updates
