The Center for Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching
The Center for Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching is the leading institution for individualized teaching and learning support at TU Dresden. Through our research-oriented, digital, and interdisciplinary programs, we create the conditions for growth—for faculty, students, and our university.
Our team brings together expertise from various academic disciplines and pedagogical contexts. This multi-perspective approach to learning and teaching exemplifies the openness and curiosity with which we carry out our mission. Since our founding in 2014 as part of the Excellence Initiative, we have been committed to fostering an inspiring, engaging culture of learning and teaching at TU Dresden. Our programs are designed for all members of the university community:
We empowerinstructors to design their courses in a way that enables all students to have a stimulating and successful academic experience. Drawing on current scientific research, technological advancements, and experience in higher education pedagogy, we provide support in the development, application, and implementation of new or proven learning and teaching scenarios.
We supportstudents in developing their skills so they can navigate their studies and acquire interdisciplinary qualifications.
We advise our university leadership on the contemporary design and innovative further development of academic programs and teaching. In addition, we support them in creating learning-friendly framework conditions and in preparing university-wide grant proposals.
