Shaping Teacher Education at the Regional Level

The TUD | ZLSB Regional Teacher Education Office in Upper Lusatia serves as a central hub for promoting teacher education in the region. Our goal is to actively help shape the educational landscape and support structural change in Lusatia through sustainable networks and innovative projects.

The Regional Office’s work includes consulting, networking, organizing events, and analyzing regional educational needs to promote knowledge transfer and develop tailored solutions for the region. These are the core goals and tasks aimed at strengthening schools, students, and education stakeholders through innovative approaches and exchange formats.

• Establishing a regional office as an interface between the university, schools, training centers, and other education stakeholders to foster sustainable networks.
• Developing and implementing projects and exchange formats that address regional educational needs in a targeted manner.
• Organizing continuing education programs, workshops, and events to promote the transfer of knowledge and practical experience.
• Promoting collaboration between students and schools in regions with unmet needs to inspire students to engage with the region in the long term.
• Conducting needs assessments and sharing best-practice examples.

The Regional Office for Teacher Education sees itself as a partner for everyone who wants to actively help shape the educational landscape in Lusatia, particularly Upper Lusatia. Together, we create sustainable structures, promote innovation, and strengthen the region as an attractive educational hub.
