Week of encounters: Events in June 2023 in the Teaching and Learning Space for Inclusion

As part of the Schule.evangelisch.inklusiv network meeting, we welcomed 26 teachers to a full-day training event in the Teaching and Learning Space for Inclusion. The focus was on testing inclusive materials in order to reflect on innovative ways of inclusive teaching and learning. The teachers were particularly enthusiastic about digital learning settings, such as the virtual tour of the Anne Frank House, and digital extensions of analog working materials, such as digital notebooks or the Anybook Reader.

At the 2nd "TEACHERMANIA" Teacher Training Festival, the Teaching and Learning Space for Inclusion could be explored both virtually and in more detail at an information stand and in a workshop. On the one hand, materials from the space were shown and discussed and, on the other, the scientific basis for the project was presented.
A survey was also carried out at the Teachers' Festival on the wishes for a classroom of the future, which showed that those present would particularly like to see modern digital devices and information on how to use them.
The insights gained will be fed back into the project and reflected upon.

The "Teaching and Learning Space for Inclusion" project was also made transparent at the International Networking Days. 18 international partners from seven countries took part in the "Multi-cultural and inclusive classrooms" workshop and reflected together on topics such as inclusive schools, multilingualism, cultural exchange, sustainability and much more on site in the teaching-learning space.
