Information brochures on studying
The ZLSB regularly publishes information brochures to provide an easier orientation to the teacher training programme at the TUD for the various school types:
- Teacher Training for primary schools
- Teacher Training for secondary schools
- Teacher Training for grammar schools
- Teacher Training for vocational schools
Responsibilities of the Academic Affairs Office for Teacher Education
- changing teacher training programmes (e.g. degree programme/type of school, subject, university),
- counselling for employed professionals who wish to graduate with a teaching degree,
- extended subject training ('third subject'),
- counselling for prospective students and career changers with foreign citizenship,
- individual planning of studies in specific situations, e.g. lateral entry, students with children, students with chronic illnesses or disabilities, etc.,
- maternity protection and
- how to organise a study abroad during your teacher training programme.

- the ServiceCenterStudium (SCS) as the initial contact for general information about the degree programme
- the Central Student Information and Counselling Service of the TU Dresden for overall information on the degree programmes as well as individual study situations
- The main study programme website at the TU Dresden (SINS = Studieninformationssystem - Study Information System)
- Academic Advising in the relevant field of study (subject, subject area or educational sciences) for particular questions and problems concerning specific subjects
