FIT:TER - Successfully realizing FIT at TU Dresden
General objective of FIT (DAAD):
- Support for international students at German universities along the entire qualification path with tailor-made offers → Goal: Successful studies and employment in Germany
Funded by: DAAD (with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research)
Program goals:
- Facilitate access to German universities for all international students
- Maximize academic success of this target group
- Increase the employability of international students and alumni in the German labor market
- Promote cooperative networks between universities and industry
Duration: April 2024-December 2028
Funding amount: €1.19 million
Participating institutions at the TU:
- Teaching Center Languages and Cultures → LSK (language support/preparation)
- Career Service → CS (career orientation/entry)
- International Office → IO (support for the activities of all stakeholders, advice and integration services)
- Center for Quality Analysis → ZQA (scientific monitoring/evaluation of the program)
