3rd GERMAN INDUSTRIAL SEMINAR on Concrete 3D Printing on 3 November
Houses from the 3D printer? The pilot project in Beckum shows that this is also possible and, above all, permissible in Germany. Additive manufacturing with concrete is a dynamic field of research in which universities and companies worldwide are participating. The simultaneous development in both industrial and academic contexts enables rapid improvements in digital and automated construction methods; however, it also carries the risk of duplicate developments. A high degree of networking between industry and research is therefore a prerequisite for the efficient further development of concrete 3D printing.
With this motivation, the Institutes of Building Materials and Construction Management and the Endowed Chair of Construction Machinery are organising the German Industry Seminar for the third time. The event is aimed at developers, users and decision-makers from the fields of automation and digitalisation of operational construction processes, solid construction, building materials technology and mechanical engineering, as well as all those interested in innovation in the construction industry.
On 3 November 2021 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., participants can expect a varied programme of lectures with contributions from research at TU Dresden and, in particular, from practice. There will also be an opportunity for questions, discussions and networking. As last year, the conference will once again take place online. Participation is free of charge for TU Dresden students. Online registration is a prerequisite for all interested parties.
