Best graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering awarded Lohrmann Medal

Jonas Scharf, (center) was awarded the Lohrmann Medal as the best graduate in Civil Engineering 2022. In this way, the TU Dresden honors its best graduates every year. Each faculty and the student council may nominate one person who has not only submitted an outstanding thesis, but has also performed very well throughout their studies. The Rector of TU Dresden, Prof. Ursula M. Staudinger, and the Prorector Education, Prof. Michael Kobel, want to "support, encourage and motivate young talents at the beginning of their career" with this award.
In addition to Jonas Scharf, two other graduates of the Faculty of Civil Engineering were awarded the "Certificate of the best graduates in the field of engineering" at a ceremony last Friday:
- Dipl.-Ing. Pit Hofmann, Diploma course civil engineering
- Master of Science Atul Anantheswar, Master's program Advanced Computational and Civil Engineering Structural Studies (ACCESS)
