Congratulations to Dipl.-Ing. Jakob Platen on the successful defense of his doctorate

On 03.07.2024, Dipl.-Ing. Jakob Platen successfully defended his scientific thesis as part of the doctoral procedure on the topic of "The principles of plant growth inspiring the design of concrete structures". In addition to the chairman of the doctoral committee, Prof. Dr. Ivo Herle (TU Dresden), Prof. Dr. Michael Kaliske (TU Dresden), Prof. Dr. Sven Klinkel (RWTH Aachen) and Prof. Dr. Detlef Kuhl (University of Kassel) were present as reviewers. Another member of the doctoral committee was Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Graf (TU Dresden). The Faculty of Civil Engineering extends its congratulations.
