Dresdner Geotechnik Seminar

The DRESDNER GEOTECHNIK-SEMINAR is a joint event by the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering at the Technische Universität Dresden and the department of Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Applied Science Dresden. The event is supported by BAUGRUND DRESDEN Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH.

The seminar offers a platform for the presentation of new scientific findings and remarkable practical projects in the field of geotechnics. Civil engineering students and interested specialists from engineering offices, authorities and universities are cordially invited. A discussion is planned after each lecture.

During the summer term the DRESDNER GEOTECHNIK-SEMINAR takes place at the TU Dresden, while in the winter term lectures are given at the University of Applied Science Dresden. In order to obtain synergies between research and teaching the department of Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Applied Science and the Centre of Applied Research and Technology (ZAFT e.V.) create a field of geotechnical engineering. Both are organizers of the DRESDNER GEOTECHNIK-SEMINAR during the winter term.
