Train rescheduling for metro lines
More and more unexpected events occur in metro systems, which may cause serious disturbances and even disruptions for the operation of trains. This talk studies the integrated train rescheduling and rolling stock circulation planning problem for emergency situations, e.g., track blockages and train failures, in a metro line. This problem is viewed as a complex multi-objective mixed integer linear programming (MILP) formulation, where the objectives involve the deviations with respect to the timetable, the cancellations, and the headway deviations of train services. Comprehensive experiments are carried out based on the practical data of Beijing Subway Lines to show the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed model and solution approaches.
The lecture will be held in english language and no pre-registration is needed.
