Faculty Administrator Finance, Personnel and Faculty Controlling
The head of the dean's office with overall responsibility for the areas of finance, personnel and faculty controlling is responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling personnel and financial matters of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences as well as being the central contact person for these matters. She reports directly to the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and supports the Dean on strategic issues in this context.
This concerns all applications to be submitted via the Dean's Office to the Central University Administration (ZUV) or the Rector's Office and the provision of advice as well as support with your questions or concerns.
Specifically, this pertains to:
Finances:
- Allocation and transfer of budgetary as well as other faculty funds (e.g., tutoring funds).
- Support of the faculty members in questions concerning budget management (GHH) and the use of third-party funds
- Processing of appointment procedures with regard to financial resources incl. junior professorships
- Supporting professors in the use of appointment funds and processing applications in this context
- Processing of applications for special bonuses, performance bonuses, function bonuses, etc.
- Support for target agreement meetings (Third-party funding income and expenses, etc.)
- Contact person and support for SAP (KOPRA, Else, SRM; ERV; DUK)
- Applications for SAP authorizations (KOPRA administrator)
- If required, representation for authorization processes in SAP
Personnel:
- Review and process the following requests:
- Termination of the employment relationship
- Hiring or extension of scientific and non-scientific personnel
- Hiring or extension of scientific assistants
- Termination of employment
- Guest lectures
- Lectureships
- Maternity and parental leave
- Secondary employment
- Substitution of professorships
- Contracts for work and fees
- Processing of appointment procedures with regard to staffing incl. junior professorships
- Advising faculty members on personnel planning and calculations
Research and teaching:
- Review and processing of
- Applications in connection with teaching loads
- Third-party funding announcements as well as project calculations
- Coordinate teaching capacity and workload in collaboration with faculty responsible for individual disciplines
