The Themes of the Conference are
- Which parts of forestry are mostly driven by entrepreneurship? What is the role of the drivers (forest owners, forest businesses, technology specialists, managers, forest rangers, providers, capital owners, market specialists, nature conservationists etc.)?
- How does entrepreneurship work for different forest ownerships types (family forest, community forests, TIMO, conservation agencies, state forest enterprise, etc.)?
- What is the role of entrepreneurship in coping with uncertainty?

What are the different types of models of entrepreneurships for different goods and services from forests? What are the key factors contributing to the success of different models?
- How can we incorporate entrepreneurial action into the models of forest economics?
- What type of entrepreneurship models may have more social acceptability in future given the values of preferences of Generation Y and Z?

Call for abstracts
Forest economists and economists associated with any other stream, forestry and natural resource professionals, and anyone else interested in the subject of the conference are invited to submit their abstracts for oral presentations. Please take note of the aspects given in the background section, but abstracts need not be limited to these aspects. We welcome abstracts that address any aspect related to entrepreneurship in forestry.
Abstracts must be submitted by December 11, 2022 to Peter Deegen (). Abstracts and papers should be in English. Authors will be notified regarding acceptance by January 20, 2023. Thereafter, the full paper must be submitted by May 21, 2023.
