Posing for science

In search for suitable sites to conduct a field experiment using Nordlander traps for Hylobius abietis, Tobias Heber and Sören Osmers from the ReBek project visited the Spitalwald of Rottenburg near Landshut at the end of February. Since forest owner and forest managers are really interested in this research - and in controlling Hylobius abietis - they had even invited a representative of the press, so that the visit in Bavaria made it to the cover of the Rottenburger Anzeiger.
