Forest hygiene - more relevant than ever?

Among others the presentation deals with the topics of why it is still not possible (yet) to avoid mass outbreaks of leaf and needle eating insects despite several years of implenting a forest conversion strategy, which contribution forest hygiene can make in this situation, for which situations plant protection products will remain necessary, and how to develop modern forest protection concepts with a comprehensive forest protection strategy.
