Duration: November 2006 - April 2008
Project description:
The objective of the 18-month project PROTEKT was to develop a manual, a training course as well as a distance learning module for selected participants of the more than 10 Thai Subject Matter Experts (SME's) of different industries regarding the "proper" handling and treatment of oil contaminated waters of the Thai industry.
Oil contamination in water occurs in numerous industries, as there is always a trade-off to be made between environmentally sound production and the resulting costs. In order to improve the market opportunities of various Thai products and to implement environmentally friendly production, PROTEKT addresses shareholders, managers, engineers, technicians and involved personnel of the Thai industry and all other branches that come into contact with oil contaminated waters.
