Thermal behavior of Refused-Derived Fuel in stationary fluidized bed combustion (VERENA)
Fluidized bed plant for tests of thermal waste treatment
in german: VERENA (VERsuchsanlage zur ENergetischen Nutzung von Abfällen)
With the kind support of ThyssenKrupp AG, the construction of a fluidized bed pilot plant was completed in 2006. The official inauguration of the plant took place on 18.07.2007. The full commissioning took place in 2008.
Analysis parameters:
- Flue gas analyzer for H2O, O2, CO2, CO, N2O, NO, SO2, HCl, HF, NH3, Corg.
- flue gas analyzer for O2, CO2
- various measurements for T, p, flow rate
