Transport students on an excursion to China

The major China excursion with 22 student participants (see report in Online Magazine Verkehrslage) has come to an end as planned. In eleven days with five train journeys, including one night train, there was a lot of knowledge to absorb about Chinese rail transport and many cultural impressions to process. A big thank you goes to the Beijing Transport University BJTU, which organized everything for us, held lectures for us and whose laboratories we were allowed to visit, especially on railroad operations. Several students traveled on to South Korea and Japan.
