Gastvortrag "A Multi-Scale Hybrid Traffic Flow Model for Human-Driven and Connected and Automated Vehicles"
The base hybrid model, H – CA&CTM; Hybrid Cellular Automata Cell Transmission Model of Storani et al. (2022), is a multi-scale as it combines the meso-microscopic Cellular Automata model and the macroscopic Cell Transmission Model. The presentation will analyse its specification, the definition of the transition zones, the consistency analysis, and the calibration procedure using real trajectory data. It was also tested within an MPC controller as a predictive model for the optimization of traffic lights utilizing a metaheuristic optimization technique.
The presentation will also detail an advancement of this model to represent Human Driven Vehicles, and Connected and Automated Vehicles in Adaptive Cruise Control mode or Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control mode, in a mixed traffic flow condition.
