Current information / projects
Most of the recent research projects focus on hybrid drive structures, energy storage systems, aspects of network stability and Life-Cycle-Costs Assessment of electrification.
The chair is specialized on systems engineering taking into account all interfaces and interactions between operation, vehicles drive technology and power supply systems. Recent research projects are for example:
- Scientific evaluation of alternative drives for regional trains with on board energy storages eHighway
- Power supply network stability affected by static converter integration
- Energy storage management in DC power supply systems
- trolley:2.0 – E-Bus systems for smart cities
- eHighway
- Life-Cycle-Cost Analysis of electrification systems
- Enuba 2
- feasibility report BNA
- VDE report
