Aim of the course
After completing the course, students will be able to:
-
explain concepts of autonomous vehicle architecture, the models and workflows of differential drive laboratory vehicles, as well as fundamental ROS architecture concepts
-
analyze, implement, and evaluate the PID control, color detection and beacon detection methods in the context of autonomous vehicles
-
understand and apply techniques for object detection, classification, advanced feature detection, and traffic sign recognition
-
learn and implement motion planning using graph planning, Dijkstra, and A* algorithms
-
design, develop, and assess autonomous functionalities within a team project
Working materials for the courses
Access to the working materials is via OPAL. As the slides are only for internal use by the students of the field of study Transport Telematics, a login with password is required for access, which will be announced in the lecture.
