Graduates with Careers in Academia, Practice or Entrepreneurship talk about their Time at TU Dresden
Marie le Claire
Marie le Claire studied industrial engineering at TU Dresden and wrote her final thesis in economics. After graduating, she began her career at Roland Berger Strategy Consultant in the Healthcare & Restructuring division. She spent six years at Charité building the controlling division for patient care, as well as establishing the hospital management division and became became Commercial Director at Greifswald University Hospital at the beginning of 2016, successfully modernizing the administrative structures. After a short stop of 1.5 years as a partner at the Boston Consulting Group, she has been back in a commercial board position since October 2022 at Technical University of Munich (Klinikum rechts der Isar) and is responsible for the areas of finance, controlling, human resources, procurement, IT, technology and construction as well as facility management, among others.
Prof. Dr. Roland Rollberg
Roland Rollberg joined the faculty after completing his studies and doctorate at the WWU Münster and the University of Warwick. From 1996 to 2000, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Business Administration, especially Production Management (now Chair of Business Administration, especially Industrial Management). In 2001, he successfully completed his habilitation at TU Dresden. Since 2001, Roland Rollberg has been professor of Business Administration and holder of the Chair of Business Administration and Production Management at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald.
Heike Wilson
Heike Wilson completed her studies in Economics at the TU Dresden from 1993 to 2000. Since 2003, the qualified economist has been managing director of DUALIS GmbH IT Solution in Dresden. Under her responsibility, the Dresden-based company has developed into a leading software provider of strategic and operational planning solutions with 60 employees today and annual sales of € 6 million. She has many years of experience in the current digitalization topics of material flow simulation, advanced planning and scheduling, as well as process optimization. In addition, she volunteers in Saxony as a mentor for female executives in the software and IT industry and in various important initiatives and associations in the economic and social context.
Christian von Olshausen
Christian von Olshausen studied industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, the University of Politecnico di Torino and at the Technischen Universität Dresden. After working at Procter & Gamble for four years, he started as a project manager at Sunfire in 2008 before becoming co-founder of Sunfire GmbH in 2010. Sunfire is a producer of innovative electrolysers for the production of hydrogen and synthesis gas. Today, as CTO, Christian von Olshausen is in charge of technical product development and customer project management at Sunfire.
