Hola Barcelona! Andrea Thiele about her language course in Spain

In September 2022, I attended a two-week language course in Barcelona as part of the SprInt program of the TU Dresden. From Monday-Friday, basic knowledge of the Spanish language was taught in 4-hour language classes. The language school I chose, WorldClass BCN, offered many other activities besides the lessons to give the students from all over the world an understanding of Spanish life and to use the acquired language skills right away - e.g., picnic on the beach and beach volleyball, visit of a tapas restaurant, excursions to the Costa Brava...

There was also enough time to explore Barcelona and its surroundings on your own. Besides the magnificent Sagrada Familia by Gaudi, I will undoubtedly remember a soccer game at Camp Nou and the "Castellers" (human towers - Catalan tradition).
