Research stays in London: Ianina Scheuch und Stefan Albers
Dr. Ianina Scheuch and Stefan Albers returned from their research stays in London. This opportunity was made possible in part through the TransCampus program, a collaborative initiative between TU Dresden and King's College London. Guided by shared ideas, values, and a devotion to research and education, transCampus enables researchers to collaborate beyond the means of a traditional partnership by sharing resources, combining their strength, and promoting transnational projects and knowledge transfer.
During their stays in London, Ianina Scheuch and Stefan Albers focused on their current research and explored potential future collaborations, particularly in the areas of financial literacy and wellbeing. Additionally, they had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with scholars from other prestigious institutions, such as the London School of Economics, Imperial College London, the University of Oxford, and the University of Sussex.
“Being one of the world's major financial centers, London provided an ideal environment for me.”
Stefan Albers is a research associate at the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Finance and Financial Technology. He explores the dynamics of implied volatility and solutions to enhance financial literacy, particularly in relation to stock market investments.
“London’s history is endlessly fascinating, and the city provides so many opportunities for research, education and personal growth.”
Dr. Ianina Scheuch is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Business Education and Management Training and an associated researcher at the King's College London, where she leads research project on 'Wellbeing & Resilience Competency Development' in cooperation with IoPPN.
