GEE Student Workshop at the TU Dresden

On May 4^th, 2023, the Society for Energy Science and Energy Policy (GEE) hosted the GEE Student Workshop at the TU Dresden at the invitation of the Chair of Energy Economics. The format is aimed at students and doctoral candidates and serves to present work in progress and to discuss it with all participants. The format has been organized by GEE for many years and takes place at least once a year at different universities in Germany.

The event was in great demand, with a total of 40 people attending the workshop. After a welcome from Prof. Dr. Aaron Praktiknjo (President of GEE) and Prof. Dr. Dominik Möst (host), 6 works were presented in presentation format and 7 works in poster format.

The workshop was concluded with a joint dinner at Chiaveri. The evening event was hosted by the organizers of Enerday (Prof. Dr. Dominik Möst and Prof. Dr. Christian von Hirschhausen). Thus, the participants of the workshop could not only exchange ideas among themselves, but also benefit from the Enerday, which took place one day later, and network with the participants of the conference in the evening.

It was a very successful event that has been received very well!
