Interdisciplin­ary Workshop "Wirtschaftsin­formatik"

Eleven Masters Students and Graduates from Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Amman, Jordan visited the Chair of Information Management in the period December 10th to December 19th, 2015.

During their stay, the visitors got introduced to teaching and research activities at the Technische Universität Dresden and opportunities for further studies and career start in Germany. In the five days Interdisciplinary Workshop “Wirtschaftsinformatik” they got to know this applied science field from German perspective and reflected on the understanding of their competences within its framework and the potentials of this field to support local academic, economic and social development in their home country.

In supplementary visits to historical, cultural and natural locations in the city and the region, they had a new experience with the history and culture of Dresden and Saxony.
