Development of grid charges in Germany

Short description:
The development of grid charges in the transmission and distribution grids has been assessed on behalf of the State Chancellery of the State of Saxony. A forecast for regional grid charges up to 2023 for the whole German system has been provided based on current grid tariffs, the network development plan and the dena Distribution Grid Study. Furthermore, the local distribution effects of national uniform grid charges have been analyzed and a possible redistribution mechanism was outlined. The project has been realised in cooperation with Energieforen Leipzig.
