Every year, 15 members are elected, and every student can also participate in the work and meetings as a free member. The work and services offered by the FSR Wiwi are wide-ranging and range from organizing the first semester introduction (ESE), exam depot and book exchange, organizing parties, participation in committees (Study Commission, Faculty Board, etc.) to Germany-wide networking with other WiWi student councils and bi-annual participation in the Federal Student Council Conference.

The VWI - Dresden University Group is part of the Association of German Industrial Engineers (VWI) and represents the interests of Industrial Engineering and Management students, including the technical departments.
However, the activities of the VWI University Group Dresden are aimed at all students! Practical seminars, interesting excursions and company visits, where fun is also guaranteed, offer insights into practice. It goes without saying that studying is not neglected, on the contrary: many hurdles can be overcome more easily thanks to insider tips and an exchange of experiences with the higher semesters.
The VWI University Group Dresden is a member of ESTIEM, the European student organization of the Wlngs. Among other things, it organizes case study competitions (T.I.M.E.S.) and seminars on current topics (Vision) at European level.

IG Börse has set itself the task of promoting stock market culture in the greater Dresden area through discussions, seminars and specialist lectures. The association offers the opportunity to make interesting contacts - be it at the Dresden Stock Exchange Day or on stock exchange trips to global financial centers. IGB members can find literary and professional support in the association's own library and through attractive magazine subscriptions. Students can also gain their first insights into the world of the stock exchange via the "Stock Exchange Driving License", which is offered as part of the "Scientific and Practical Work (WPA)" module.

Are you interested in young companies and do you know what start-ups are? Or do you already have an idea for a start-up yourself? GründerGarten e.V. promotes the informal and open exchange of ideas on precisely this topic. But not only that, GründerGarten also takes responsibility in the field of education by introducing students to the attractive career option of starting a business.

Another typical university day: you're sitting in the lecture hall, the professor is standing at the front trying to initiate you into the deep secrets of investment calculation, software engineering or social research? You accumulate more and more university knowledge in the in the hope of being able to apply it at some point. But why wait too long when you can take action and gain practical experience right away?
Students at TU Dresden asked themselves the same question back in 1996 and founded the student consultancy PAUL Consultants in order to " learn from companies in projects".
