New seminars at the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Management Accounting and Control

The Chair of Business Administration, in particular Management Accounting and Control, offers a varied and exciting teaching program in the summer semester 2024. In addition to the lecture Value Based Management, students are invited to attend two seminars which are held in cooperation with practice partners.

Seminar Case Studies in Innovative & Sustainable Business

(Compulsory elective for all Master's degree courses and diploma courses in the main study program)

In the seminar, you will develop a solution proposal for a real, current business problem from innovative or sustainable business management. You will write a case study describing the problem and your solution. You will also get to know four practice partners, where you will solve a case study and discuss your solutions with managers from the practice partners.

Seminar Financial Modeling

(Compulsory elective area of the Bachelor's degree programs)

How do companies and investors plan and evaluate the development of their business models? In order to answer this question, we cordially invite you to our seminar in Financial Modeling. In the seminar you will learn the basics of modeling integrated financial plans and their evaluation. You will develop solution proposals for the modeling of two real business plans from the mobility and energy sectors. You will describe your assumptions and modeling in a seminar paper. You will also get to know our practice partner Mazars and present your proposed solution to managers from the Financial Modeling department.
